Robert Plant anuncia la publicación de un doble CD con 30 canciones de toda su carrera en solitario. Aparecerá el 2 de octubre.
El disco, titulado “Digging Deep”, contiene tres canciones inéditas y se publica en una edición limitada en 2CD. También estará disponible en edición digital.
El repertorio del álbum consta de canciones extraídas de sus ocho discos en solitario e incluye temas como el hit “Hurting Kind” o “Shine It All Around”, que fue candidata a un premio Grammy. ”
Digging Deep” contiene los temas inéditos “Nothing Takes the Place of You”, compuesta por el músico de Nueva Orleans Toussaint McCall e incluida en la banda sonora de la película Winter In The Blood, una versión del tema de Charlie Feathers “Too Much Alike” grabada con Patty Griffin y “Charlie Patton Highway (Turn It Up- Part 1)”.
Plant ha contado con la colaboración de un grupo de músicos estelares a lo largo de sus producción en solitario. Desde su compañero en Led Zeppelin Jimmy Page a Buddy Miller, Patty Griffin, Phil Collins, Nigel Kennedy o Richard Thompson.
Su Podcast “Digging Deep with Robert Plant” ha comenzado recientemente su tercera temporada.
