Fue el primero en que intervino Mick Taylor y el último en que interviene muy poco Brian Jones. Los Stones comenzaron la grabación nada menos que con 9You can´t always get what you want9, con el enorme Jimmy Miller, el productor genial de “Let it Bleed” en la batería, porque Charlie no podía con el tiempo del tema. Era noviembre del año 1968 y tras el magnífico “Beggars Banquet”.

Pero el mejor tema siempre se dice que es ‘Gimme Shelter’, la obra maestra de los Stones, con Micky Taylor genial. El gran Nicky Hopkins y la gran habilidad de Jagger, que en aquellos días rodaba la película “Perfomance”. La voz de Merry Clayton es de otro mundo.
