LAS “CRIATURAS ADORABLES” DE NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS

Tras el éxito unánime de “Skeleton Tree”, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds han anunciado detalles de un nuevo “best of” que va a llevar por título ‘Lovely Creatures’ y que va a ser publicado en varios formatos. Además han presentado el trailer del disco recopilatorio (abajo).

“Hay algunas personas por ahí que simplemente no saben por dónde empezar con The Bad Seeds. ¡Otros conocen mejor el catálogo que yo!”, ha comunicado Cave sobre “Lovely Creatures”.

“Esta versión está diseñada para ser un camino a tres décadas de música. Eso es un montón de canciones. Las canciones que hemos elegido son las que han quedado, por cualquier razón. Algunas canciones son las que exigen ser interpretadas en directo”.

“Otras son canciones menores que son nuestras favoritas personales. Otras son demasiado grandes y tienen demasiada historia para ser dejadas de lado. Y están las que no lo consiguieros, pobres. Son las que deberán descubrir por ustedes mismos”.

Cave y su banda regresaron al directo a mediados de enero en su Australia natal, en el Derwent Entertainment Center de Hobart, sus primeros conciertos en tres años y los primeros desde la trágica muerte de su hijo, Arthur.

Ahora, antes de sus conciertos, a partir de mayo, por Estados Unidos, Canadá y Europa, la veterana banda australiana ha aprovechado para publicar esa apetecible colección de mejores canciones.

“Lovely Creatures; The Best Of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds”, sale el 5 de mayo vía Mute Records. Un interesante recuento para los fans y un excelente punto de partida para los que quieran iniciarse en su música.
