Bob Dylan: recomendaciones
Se ha anunciado su edición para el 3 de noviembre. “The Basement Tapes Complete” va a salir en caja exhaustiva de 6 CDS y edición regular de dos CDs.
Durante años se especuló con la posibilidad de que se editara una box- set de las “Bootleg Series” dedicado exclusivamente a las célebres “cintas del sótano”, el material que Bob Dylan grabó junto a The Band en su retiro post accidente de moto, y por fin esta caja ya es una realidad.
Al contrario que el LP doble de 1975 en el que se recuperó una pequeña porción de las distintas sesiones entre Dylan y The Band de un modo más “antológico” (a modo de recopilatorio), aquí se sigue un orden cronológico y se ha decidido (el teclista de The Band, Garth Hudson) presentar las canciones tal y como fueron grabadas en el verano de 1967.
Por supuesto, la mayor parte del material permanecía oficialmente inédito, incluso se han incluido algunas canciones descubiertas recientemente. Una producción hecha en comandita por Hudson y el productor Jan Haust.
Y , por supuesto, tanto la box set como el disco “regular” traen las inmortales “Quinn The Eskimo”, “This Wheel´s On Fire”, “I Shall Be Released” o “You Ain´t Goin´Nowhere”.
